Picture Maniac

I can't stop taking pictures!?!?
Every once in a while she gets a little
sassy...this time I caught her in the act!


I attempted to give her a bath solo, we did
pretty good and got some cute pics!

Update

So we've been home for one week already...
I can't believe it!?! Mark and I are
so blessed- words cannot describe the
love we have for her already!!!

Hadley had her well-baby check
up on Monday and she is already beyond
her birth weight, 7lbs 14oz and everything
checked out!

She's doing well, eating like a champ and
sleeping fairly well (about three hours
between feedings).

"Aunt Mandy" has been spoiling her...hence
the mohawk seen here.



Yesterday Mandy came to babysit giving me a
MUCH needed afternoon sleep. Thank goodness
for great friends! Here is just a cute picture
of turd.



We plan to take her home to my parents this weekend,
so feel free to stop by Mom and Dad's if you want to
meet her!!!

More Visitors!!

Hadley got to meet her cousins Evan and Ella.
We took her out into the real world for a dinner
at Longhorn (my brother's fav place). She was an
angel sleeping the whole time!! Plus I got to
put on my pre-prego jeans!?!?!?!

I still can't believe they let me leave with her?!
It's unexplainable- the love that I have for
that little bug already. We made it home around
2 PM today. Here is a pic of her and I in the
nursery...she loves it!!

Day Number 2

Well, my parents made it home after Hadley's
arrival a little after midnite to find out
my sister's water broke and they were headed
to the hospital. HOLY COW!! So mom and dad
without sleep headed to the hospital to become
grandparents again within 24 hours?!?!?!!

I keep getting them confused with Hadley's.

Hadley's second day with us was even better
than the first. Here is a pic of her and Dad,
they are impossible to seperate!!

We reported to the hospital at 9AM to begin the induction.
It could not have gone better. Everyoone was super nice,
helpful, and made this a wonderful experience!
After a mere five pushes the doctor walked in to
catch her before she hit the floor!!!! It was so
effortless on my part- she was ready to join us!

Final Update

Assuming this evening is similar to the
past three. I will probably have contractions
all evening long to end as I fell asleep. Yes,
we called the doctor Thursday night and Friday,
thinking we were headed to have this child...
Oh the fun let me tell you!! It did give us a weekend
with my parents which was so nice to have them here
with nothing scheduled to do!

So far, not much today, so I assume everything will
go down tomorrow- however I wouldn't mind being
proven wrong here?!?

Anyways, we are scheduled in at 0900 tomorrow at
Bethesda North Hospital-

We will also update this site as soon as we can
get around to it. The hospital and doctor keep
telling me to expect her around 4-5:30 (here's to
hoping right?!?!)

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Yesterday we went to the doctor. I've
gained 31.5 lbs officially woohoo!
Hadley's heart rate is doing fine, she's
measuring fine. I am 3 cm dilated, still
80%. He decided to get fancy and strip
my membranes (sounds awkward, can some-
times induce labor). So far not so much
but keep checking...

It won't be long.

Another week gone and no Hadley, how sad!!
Latest doctor appointment went well.
No change- still 2cms & 80% thinned.
Her heart rate is down into the 130s,
my blood pressure is good, and I haven't
gained weight in three weeks (still right
at 30 lbs!!!)!

If she does not join us by the 15th, we
are going to be induced on the 18th. Check
back for the exact time we go into the hospital
if you are interested (we find out later today).
I will put up some pics when I get done with
class this evening...assuming we can put down
the Wii for a few seconds haha!!

HAPPY B-DAY GRANDPA TO-BE!!!

Just wanted to wish Dad a Happy Birthday-
we aren't making back home for the first time
I can remember but we want to stay close in
case little lady decides to join us!!

On a Hadley update- we found her a sitter
which is yet another relief!!! She can
officially come into the world because
she has a pediatrician and a sitter!!
