Movin and Shakin!!

This is my Hadley who continues to grow up more and more everyday. Hadley now turns off and on the lights in our house, opens doors, and keeps tabs on Sissy. Tonight, she did the cutest thing!!!!! Gweny got into the bathroom which is this lovely stage she's in!!!!!! Hadley goes in, notices she's pulling herself up on the toilet and we accidently left the seat up. So Hadley moves her back, tells her no no and then shuts the lid. She helps to pull her to sitting in the tub since Gweny HAS TO STAND?! She gets her bottle or her bink whenever she needs it. Such a grown up girl lately I am amazed every time I look at her.

Sometimes I think Gweny thinks I'm a crazy lady...

This is Sassafras Gweny. Man this girl has a temper (wonder where it comes from...). As you can tell her she has knocked down the pop can after being told no no about a thousand times...

This is little Ms Toothy. Hadley had all of two teeth when she turned one, but NOT MS GWENY! Gweny now has eight teeth. So lots of sleepless nights for Mommy!

Hadley did not crawl until 14 months and walk at 18 months. NOT GWENY!!!!!!! I know you should never compare children, but it's hard not too. Gweny just amazes me everyday. Crawling was a couple of weeks/months ago (she snaked along like a champ forever!!). Pulling up 5 or 6 weeks ago. Cruising in the last 3 weeks, sitting herself back down and getting more and more risky with her letting go of things to be "sooooo big." She will be moving sooner than not which is good and bad. I can see her and Hadley running thru the house. Right now it's a jog by Hadley with thud thud coming from Hadley...part of me can't wait!!!!!

This is an incredibly late picture. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday Mark and I did this mural for Mom and Dad in the playroom!! The kids just loved all the animals!

Mason Scott

After the good news the famil reieved yesterday, today seems like a perfect day today to blog about his Baptism. Mason Scott was Baptised on the Sunday following the family golf outing. Jessica and Doug took him to Cincinnati Children's for his evaluation of his port wine stain. It went SOOOO well. He has to get approval from the eye dotor regarding his vision then he is clear as can be. With future plans for 2 treatments per year starting after six months to lighten the color. What a load of weight off mommy and daddy's shoulders. Plus myself as GodMother to this young man I am quite relieved!! Enjoy the pictures of our children going nuts in the church!!!!

Buffett Party

The Brewers made a come back with the Buffett this year. Even with the rain, the turn out was great. Lots of food, family, friends, and drinks so Mark and I were in heaven. Hadley & Gweny got to see their PaPaw & MawMaw Bebe so they were happy too!
















Lastly, random shots in the house. Hadley is obsessed with playing in this toy pack and play. She thinks it is too funny, which it is. I just worry and wait for it to break!!!!!!

All around the house...

You never know what to expect around our house. I decided to pick up a little baby pool to assist with Hadley's fear of water. Bless Mark's heart, he got in (unplanned hence boxers) to make Hadley feel better about the water. Gwenyth of ourse was obsessed with playing in the water, going under about three times!!



Boys come into this house and find trouble because we are an ALL ladies house, with girlie toys. Everyone should know that his father put these on not any of us!!!

Check out these red knees. Gweny is crawling ALL OVER this house. It's started a new, beautiful chapter in our house. Hadley & Gweny playing together in Hadley's room. Creepy and nice all at once.

Fourth of July

My daughters have their grandpa wrapped around their finger!!!



I am well aware this is a month late, but that doesn't make the pictures any worse!!I found precious hats at Target in the dollar bin and of course some beads. Since Ella & Evan weren't going to make it to the lake, we played with them the day before the lake trip. Evan just loved these hats and necklaces. They wore them the whole night and next day.







So a weekend at the lake that was blissful. My parents were there with us so that means the girls were ABSOLUTELY spoiled, and honestly so were Mark and I. We got to go out to the sand bar two days and the girls stayed back with the grandparents. On the Fourth (Sunday) Gweny started to get quite sick so we rushed back to my parents to get a breathing treatment done.






Hadley and Mae often go into their own little world when they're together. They are having a little shop talk here and as Macayla points out she doesn't want interrupted.
