One Month Check Up

Parker had her one month check up today. We were supposed to get her second hep B injection, but she was two days shy of being able to get it (they gave it to her two days after her birth and she was born on a Wednesday so she is four days from four weeks..silly I know but we didn't want to have to do it again so it was valid). Good for me, no needles on my baby today :)
Growing is her motto. She is now 9 lbs 0.3 ozs!!! 50th percentile
22 1/2 inches (she grew an inch and a half in two weeks??????) 95th percentile
Her head is 39 1/2 cms of course in the 95th percentile like a true Goins baby, from 35 1/2 at 2 wks
Basically she is a mini me...too tall with not enough weight (well I have enough now, but as a kid)

Gweny continues to be Gweny, sucking on a marker while coloring RIGHT in front of me!!

Now that we are out of newborn clothes it's not ALL onesies, it's fun outfits with cardigans and all!

My girls....being cute!

Yes, Parker clearly spends a lot of time in the boppy but she is safe there, somewhat protected!

All three watching tv in this shot!

Hating tummy time.

I dressed her up and took her to meet my coworkers at our meeting!! They of course loved her, even with her baby acne which has all cleared up!

Sassy lady!

Growing is such hard work Mama!

3 Week Shots

I realize this was last Wednesday, but I just got to editing them today. We had a busy weekend...going up to my parents on Thursday night for Hadley to do her preschool intake in Van Wert County :) Let's just hope all the pieces of the puzzle fall together to make that a reality.

Then we came home Saturday for me to have my first full day away from Parker. It was...good, yet scary. I mean I know she was home with my husband and his mom who are both capable, but I just had the hardest time saying goodbye to her for that long. I did however enjoy a fantastic girls day with my friend Kelly and Christa. We went to Columbus for the day, enjoyed some grown-up drinks and dinner followed by a Lisa Lampenelli show which was of course hilarious. I did make it home in time for her midnite feeding and getting her to sleep so that was okay with me :) Enjoy these pictures. Tomorrow we have her ONE MONTH CHECK UP????????????

Already.

I can't believe it's already March?!

So I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Here it is the second week of March, Parker is three weeks old, my girls are playing outside for 2-3 hours an evening and I'm going into my fourth week of maternity leave.
How?!?!?! I continue to work on us getting into a routine. I've got the whole morning deal down, however when I start work it will be about a two hour process with feed, pump, shower, getting ready, breakfast and drop off. NOT looking forward to that, but maybe by then Parker will like sleeping longer at night :) Maybe?! She is about every three and a half hours at night with a period of fussiness usually between 8-11, sometimes all the way till 1 am but that's really the only time you hear a peep from her. How in the world she sleeps through Hadley and Gweny in the evenings I don't know. Then how they sleep through her in the later hours I don't know either?!?! Sisterly love I guess.

She is still a commodity for the girls, always wanting to see her, hold her, kiss her, take her along (as though I'd leave her home?!?!). They are both great big sisters...Gweny calls her "My Park," every morming she will say..."Mommy where is my Park?" Enjoy these shots...

This shot was much more funny in person. Mark and I thought it was hilarious that it looked like she was holding the balloon...

And then here she really was holding it!?

Content with my Daddy.

Hadley thinks she needs toys. Like a three week old needs toys?!?! However I won't tell Hadley different :)

Always near her, waiting until she wakes (Rules of the house are that while she is asleep and eating you are not allowed to touch her?!?!)

Sneaking a hand hold while she's asleep!!!!

Caught touching her while she's asleep and embarassed...

I'm sure this is a "What Mom?" moment.

EDIBLE.

So many new things this week. She is now up to four ounces at every feed...she no longer fits her newborn clothes :( and we are transitioning to size 1 diapers....no more yellow lines that turn blue. But we do have a beautiful, growing baby girl!

2 Week Shots

So I actually got Parker's two week pictures taken on the day she turned two weeks...the only hold up was that I also had both her sisters home with the runs for two and a half days so getting the time to edit them wasn't necessarily possible. As always, she makes it so easy :) Enjoy.

NUMBER 38

It's crazy to believe, but Parker is my Grandma Lucy's 38th GREAT Grandchild, with her reaching 40 at the end of May?!?!?! It's so much fun to see Grandma interacting with my little ones. She has faithfully made it to their birthday parties, even with a broken foot and using a walker this go round!?!

Her first peek at Parker.

Picking on Gweny, pretending to steal her cake...

Parker with her Great Grandma Lucy :)

Birthday girl getting some tickles from Great Grandma...

Final Birthday Celebration for Hadley & Mae!!

The birthday marathon has concluded....I wish I got three birthday celebrations!!! Next year we all laughed because Parker will be in on the joint party so it will be for Hadley, Macayla, & Parker...CHAOS!!!!!!

We had someone make a cake because we weren't sure Mark and I would have a chance to make it this year, which was a good thing because we really didn't..and this one turned out great.

Getting ready for singing!

Grandma Cathy spoiling Gweny...who wasn't quite sure about Emma, giving her the stink eye.

Candles getting blown out...Parker is looking on from Daddy's arms back there :)

Enjoying her third birthday cake :)

Cayden, Bri's son, was enjoying the festivities. Asking for more cake before he even finished his, bless his heart!

Mason even got in on the sugar rush!

Always the fiesty two year old...not sure what we are going to do with Miss Gweny.

She's like a sour patch kid....both sweet and sour!??!

PRESENT TIME!!!!!!!!

She got lots of great stuff- clothes, a bike helmet, stickers, puzzles, leotards for dance class, all a four year olds dream!!

Thanks to everyone that made it to the party...we are so blessed.
