Our house is a trainwreck with these two girls?!?!?! For those of you that haven't been in the loop, we have kept my doctors office and local pharmacy in business!!! Two weeks ago Hadley was breathing pretty hard and congested so I packed her and Gweny up and took them both to the doctor. Gweny just had a little congestion but I figured I'm there so I might as well take them both. Hadley ended up on an antibiotic for an ear infection and generalized congestion. Gweny had a double ear infection with no congestion. So antibiotics and sleepless nights it was in our house. Then that Friday Gweny ended up basically drowning in snot, difficulty breathing, eating, and sleeping. Ugh so back to the doctor (almost the ER but my pediatric nurse buddies helped me remain calm!!!!!!). It's just so hard to see clearly when it's your baby and they are distressed!! So got breathing treatment at doctors office because she had RSV, and thank goodness she responded. So came with round the clock breathing treatments and new antibiotic. The DAY was saved when Grandma BeBe came over to give mama a rest as I hadn't slept through the night all week long and didn't sleep at all on Thursday night since 1:30 am?! UGH. So back to the doctor on Saturday morning and she was doing better...just continue the course of treatment (which worked for me because we weren't going to the hospital woohoo!). So we just took them both for their check-up last night. Gweny is better, lungs sound good and ears are cleared. Hadley however...has another ear infection, another round of antibiotics and a check-up in two weeks. This poor girl and her ears?!?! Needless to say the doctor's office knows us fairly well and the pharmacy is just in love with our credit card hahahaha. Right now the girls are back to sleeping, Hadley is a little fussy but hanging in there. On a good note, Gweny started eating cereal this week and taking a formula bottle (tough for mommy but we are getting over this breastfeeding gig). Gweny's thinking about getting her first tooth and Hadley is going for her two year molars I believe. That's my update! We are still alive with all this snow, just postponing our trip home this weekend until Hadley's birthday party at the end of the month...bummer. These pics are rather old, but enjoy!
I know everyone is tired of these polk-a-dot dresses but I mostly take pictures when they are dressed up and these are my go to outfits ha!
Gweny is not a party animal...she spent the afternoon at Ella's b-day party sleeping!
