Goins' Family Christmas

After a loooong weekend we wrapped up at cousin Cyndi's house celebrating with Mark's dad's family. The girls were in heaven because they were the only kids there so they just ate up the attention (Emmie and Elliott were sick). They got great books and games from the family, opening each others stuff of course.

This is happiness rite?

I don't know when it happened but Hadley stopped being a baby and is a girl now. A girl, like grown up, opinionated girl. It often breaks my heart that she can be so big already, but getting to know the new her is an ongoing adventure.

And pistol pete is just that. Gweny is such a little pistol. Into EVERYTHING...

An attempt at a family shot.

Hadley wanted to see her teeth, how bout this smile???

Gweny with her pawpaw...

Big girl pose again...

Sort of a confused look, but like that it says love in the background.

The best family shot was taken on a cell phone of course....

Christmas Three of Four...

On Christmas Day my siblings and all the kiddos got together at Grandma and Pawpaws for present exchanges from: Grandma and Pawpaw to the kiddos, to us, from the siblings to the other siblings and from the kiddos to the kiddos. So really what I mean to say is a WHOLE LOT OF PRESENTS!!!!!!!! It was definitely fun, I think the kids stayed up until after midnite playing hard and watching Uncle Joe put together Evan's Cars leggos. It was actually quite fascinating how real they looked!!

Evan attempting to get Gwenyth to pose...

The three amigos, hanging out on the couch...

All the grandkids except for Mason.

Forcing them to sit and take group pictures before they can open any presents!!! They are all getting so big.

So close to the gifts but still have to pose...

Next pile up on Old Man...

I LOVE Mason's eyes in this picture. It's like he is looking at Old Man saying "I'm not so sure about you guy." Then Gweny is saying "hey don't you bother my pal....." So sweet these two are. She says Maccce.

Opening like a mad woman...

New nighties from Aunt Jess :)

 Working so hard on opening...

My girls are all about wearing their bed sheets on their heads. They beg to wear around their towels after baths which drives me NUTS?!?! So I found these blankets with hoods. The perfect combo. So nightly I have a dog and a princess running around :) Perfect gift Grandma.

Lastly, we decided to torture Doug, which results in black mail for Mason later in life. Pompoms and dolls!!

Parker Update

So I decided that we needed to interrupt regular broadcasting and talk about our coming bundle of joy. Mark and I both realized I have not been good at putting her updates on the blog, let alone taking belly shots for everyone to enjoy.  I had her 34 week ultrasound yesterday so I was forced to take some time to think about her since I got to she her for about 20 minutes on the screen :) I forgot the DVD and he was out so the doctor felt bad and tried so hard to get great pictures for Mark. Of course, in true Goin's baby fashion she was stubborn and wouldn't get her hand out of her face. I was still able to see her profile and of course, those Goins' lips are there just like her sissy's. Everything with her is measuring perfect. She is already 6 pounds, 3 ounces so fairly big with six weeks left. He guesses past 8 but less than 9 if she goes full term which well she better not :) Her bones and organs are all developed perfectly!!!! Her heart rate is right where it should be. The only not perfect thing was more my doing than hers. My amniotic fluid level is high, which really is only a big deal when you are worried about pre-term labor and the side effects that she could have....we are past having to worry about that so now it will most likely just induce an early labor which you would never hear me complain about!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We still plan to induce on the 15th of February (why because well I don't want to be pregnant for EVER, I can assure my family can be present, I will have someone here to take care of larry and curly at home, and it would assure I can be in attendance for the ever so important 4th birthday that Saturday (Hadley's on the 18th)). So not all may agree with such silly conveniences but we do thoroughly enjoy it :)

Belly shot at 34 weeks....25 extra pounds are being hauled around and it literally looks like I swallowed a basketball, which I am informed of daily. My children also notice that my belly is getting bigger and bigger...

Lately in the evenings the girls like to talk to Parker, I lift up my shirt and they watch her move. They talk to her, kiss her, and feel her wiggling around as Hadley says. Even Gweny is starting to get in on the action which I wasn't sure she would understand or care. She calls her "Park-Park." Hadley says we will call her Baby Parker when she joins us.

These were the two best photos.  It is a profile shot of Parker above. She is on the bottom with her chin, lips, and nose visible on the top half.

This is a great shot of the side of her face. So beautiful...We CANNOT wait to meet her.

Our Christmas Morning

Christmas morning (well actually Christmas Eve) Santa made a stop at our house. It was the perfect start to the morning. Gweny woke up talking so I went and grabbed her and brought her into our bed. For some reason I thought it was the middle of the night and then figured out it was like 730. So we hung out for a while, she eventually pestered Mark awake and then we played.  Finally we decided it was time to get Hadley up. So she came into our room too and we played for a while longer while daddy got our cinnamon rolls started :) So out to the kitchen we headed to find leftovers from Santa and a note. They loved it!!

Of course, they are wearing their pajamas we got them last night (something my parents always did for us).

A great note from Santa which they loved hearing over and over.

Santa must have thought the girls were good this year because there was a boat load of presents for them!

Gweny's very own garden gnomes. She says hi to them when we come in everyday.

Gnomeo and Juliet bobble heads for the girls! Of course Hadley managed to break Juliets head right out the gate but super glue can work wonders!!

Gweny needed a little direction to keep opening presents whereas Hadley was a machine.

Buckeye jersey's for next years season!!

This would definintely be a spiderwomen dress up outfit. She just loved wearing it around.

Playing with all the toys while mommy and daddy pack up to head up North for our third of four Christmas
celebration...

Santa's Snack

On Friday night, our Christmas Eve- per a special request letter : )  we wrote letters to Santa- aka drew silly pictures. Then we laid out milk and cookies. On the way home from Mark's family Hadley asked if we could leave out chocolate milk. We asked why...Hadley says, "Max and Ruby say that it is Santa's favorite, chocolate milk." So of course we had no chocolate to mix in the milk and Hadley felt Santa could handle strawberry milk.

Both the girls had to stir the milk, about five times each but it was very sweet...

Hadley decorated these cookies at Miss Holly's (somehow she can get things like this accomplished with five children running around). Hadley added a few too many toppings to these so she sent them home with us. Who better to leave them for then Santa who loves his sweets?!

Marks Family

On the night before Christmas Eve we started our festivities, going to Mark's sister's house to celebrate with his immediate family. The girls were so excited about presents they could barely even eat dinner. Before we left I forced them to take pictures in front of the tree, since they were in actual clothes versus daily play clothes. Here is the pose again?!?!

I couldn't get Gweny to stand in front of the tree so I went for random action shots...

No clue what she is licking here and I probably don't want to know...

"I see, please?" I"m pretty sure that's what she is saying there...

Present time....woohoo!! Hadley was with the "mooooore" theory, Gweny had a hard time focusing between the family, the dogs, and everyone elses' presents!

Hadley got another year of her "library" that's what she calls her Highlites magazines that come straight to her door once a month. She loves going through them with her daddy :)

Craft kits. Woohoo!!!!

"PRESENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

She looks exhausted, it's hard work opening presents!

Afterward we came home and passed out :) Hadley had an ear ache so she cuddled up with Mommy in her bed which put a little gliche in the delivery system for the evening (since Santa was coming a night early as a special request!!)

Goins House

Now that things have settled down from the marathon holiday Christmas is for us I have finally downloaded my pictures. So bear with me, there will be lots of posts for Christmas but we have to get them done so they don't come after our arrival. Six weeks max and Parker will be joining our family, it doesn't seem real unless you look at my belly. I wonder where she's going to go the next six weeks because I am pretty far out there already, but the body is a miraculous thing making room where needed.  I am frequently reminded by Hadley, "Mommy your belly is getting really big." How sweet right?? Since I got the girls dressed up to see Santa we did a couple shots at our house before we left...

This shoulder pose drives me nuts...

Gweny is not scared, just saying "cheeeeeezzzzz."

Action shot....

Rare group shot.

Gweny is starting to get nervous before seeing Santa. Hadley however is bouncing off the walls with excitement, making the twenty minute wait painful...

Always so curious, watching the train ride.

Hadley wanted pictures of everyones feet. I don't know nor do I try to understand but here they are. Of course these are Gweny's because Simba never leaves her side...

Then I posed him because she was distracted :)

I promise the girls had their toes like this also and it wasn't completely my idea to do mine this way. I did plan to do the girls' like this and of course it took off from there...

Hadley wanted the pictures and then wouldn't even sit still????

Lastly, Daddy's stinky feet :)
