So I decided that we needed to interrupt regular broadcasting and talk about our coming bundle of joy. Mark and I both realized I have not been good at putting her updates on the blog, let alone taking belly shots for everyone to enjoy. I had her 34 week ultrasound yesterday so I was forced to take some time to think about her since I got to she her for about 20 minutes on the screen :) I forgot the DVD and he was out so the doctor felt bad and tried so hard to get great pictures for Mark. Of course, in true Goin's baby fashion she was stubborn and wouldn't get her hand out of her face. I was still able to see her profile and of course, those Goins' lips are there just like her sissy's. Everything with her is measuring perfect. She is already 6 pounds, 3 ounces so fairly big with six weeks left. He guesses past 8 but less than 9 if she goes full term which well she better not :) Her bones and organs are all developed perfectly!!!! Her heart rate is right where it should be. The only not perfect thing was more my doing than hers. My amniotic fluid level is high, which really is only a big deal when you are worried about pre-term labor and the side effects that she could have....we are past having to worry about that so now it will most likely just induce an early labor which you would never hear me complain about!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We still plan to induce on the 15th of February (why because well I don't want to be pregnant for EVER, I can assure my family can be present, I will have someone here to take care of larry and curly at home, and it would assure I can be in attendance for the ever so important 4th birthday that Saturday (Hadley's on the 18th)). So not all may agree with such silly conveniences but we do thoroughly enjoy it :)
Belly shot at 34 weeks....25 extra pounds are being hauled around and it literally looks like I swallowed a basketball, which I am informed of daily. My children also notice that my belly is getting bigger and bigger...
Lately in the evenings the girls like to talk to Parker, I lift up my shirt and they watch her move. They talk to her, kiss her, and feel her wiggling around as Hadley says. Even Gweny is starting to get in on the action which I wasn't sure she would understand or care. She calls her "Park-Park." Hadley says we will call her Baby Parker when she joins us.
These were the two best photos. It is a profile shot of Parker above. She is on the bottom with her chin, lips, and nose visible on the top half.
This is a great shot of the side of her face. So beautiful...We CANNOT wait to meet her.
