How are we always so busy?!?! Last weekend Mark and I stripped and refinished the hardwood floors at Uncle Rays, one step closer to moving...The HARDEST work I have done in a long while. We worked for ten straight hours, but the end result is AMAZING. I am so proud of our work plus it takes me back to college days with the hardwood floors however these are high quality haha! Lots has been happening with the little ladies in the mean time. Gweny is a rolling and scooting maniac. She only scoots on her back but it's pretty funny to see and she can get some distance too! She also shakes her head no and leans in to give kisses with a wide open mouth- SO PRECIOUS! Hadley is just full of piss and vinegar lately. Talking more and more, "haha dats so funny, no mama want dada" or vice versa!!!!!!! When we play outside we each have our own color for the bubbles and if you grab the wrong one she will let you know...

These are left over pictures from Easter weekend, enjoy the chaos!

This was Hadley's reaction once she saw that the Easter Bunny visited her even at Grandma and Grandpa's house!!!

Great Grandma Elling spoiling her great grand babies!!

Breath of Fresh Air

A challenging week has ended on a good note. Thursdays appointment went well. I do in fact have a tumor, a lactating adenoma. It is BENIGN (thank goodness) and we are just going to monitor size for the next four months and remove it if hasn't shrunk because of hormonal changes. Mark and I walked out of that office two feet taller knowing that we didn't have to worry about a worse diagnosis. Grandma Elling got released from the hospital on Friday. God really is good. To top it all off we had dinner with Mark's family because Mandie returned from her missions trip safe and sound. Then to wrap up the weekend we played outside- frisbee, wiffle ball, bikes, and ball. It was a blast.

Like I said God really is good, we turned to Him this week and He has taken care of us. The many blessings that surround us!!

We took Hadley to Yo Gabba Gabba a few weeks ago and she (well we did too) LOVED it!!! Enjoy the pics...

On our way, not sure what was going to happen!!

Apprehensive in the big lobby of Aronoff with all the chaos!

One of my favorite pictures, getting a boost from Daddy...

Digging Deep

My expression for these past few weeks is, "when it rains it pours." So many things are going on in our life right now that I honestly don't know how to begin trying to deal with them. Mark and I find it ironic that it's occurring right around Easter, the time when we are reminded of Jesus' sacrifice for us. I recall a sermon once that told us that yeah, God does give us more than we can handle, mostly because he wants us to turn to Him. Which, is exactly what we have had to do these past few weeks.

Right when we made the decision to move to Uncle Ray's house, which still needs work, everything seemed to start happening. Coworkers became ill or passed away, finding out Gweny is on her way to a set of tubes, I've come down with a sinus infection, the discovery of a lump which is sending me to a breast surgeon tomorrow, and Grandma was recently admitted to the hospital with dizziness and low blood counts which have resulted in her being quarantined.

Even with all this going on, we are able to see that we are BLESSED, truly blessed. We have two beautiful daughters that wake up happy, full of smiles, love and trust toward us- their parents.

Here is a glimpse into our past weekend, I still plan to post the Yo Gabba Gabba pictures but these are too sweet to hold on to.

We took the girls over to the new place to look around and see just what is left to do so we can get our move on...

These kids are TOOOO much together, anxiously awaiting the Easter Egg hunt. They define happiness, just look at their faces.

Hadley went crazy at the Easter Egg hunt. She was so funny, only picking up the plastic eggs with stuff in them. The hard boiled didn't shake and were promptly thrown down. Mark tried three times to get her to take them and it wasn't happening, not in her basket!!

Look for updates tomorrow, hopefully we have good news!

Happy Easter

Easter, a time to be thankful for everything we have in life because of the sacrifices made by Jesus for us. Man are we blessed. It's been a rollercoaster of a week but as always, sitting down and reflecting- it was heaven. The weather has broke so we have been taking evening walks and playing outside with Hadley in the evening which she LOVES. We snuck in some holiday pictures with the girls because I AM going to get better at getting Gweny's pics done!!!!!!!! What else happened this week, oh yes...the stroller situation. While on a family walk, Hadley slipped out of the stoller and was run over by her father, OF COURSE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. Fiasco, I have Pabst, I'm grabbing the stroller with Gweny. Mark is picking up a shoe and Hadley...GEESH?!! Everyone is okay and she was even actually willing to return to the stroller! Bless her heart. She has also been overly helpful this week, attempting to feed sissy. Gweny has ate a peanut butter cookie (GREAT?!) and some chili mac- really Hadley?!?! That seemed like a good idea to her. She also gives her juice, aren't we so lucky to have a helper?!! I'm still waiting on pictures from a new mom to give a shout out to the girlfriends who joined the two kid club- parents of two you KNOW what I'm talking about. Enough rambling. Enjoy the pictures. It was IMPOSSIBLE to make my order!
