The Little Things

Two girls in the house leaves lots of cute little things (cute as long as you can over look the clutter they cause). Big mommy and daddy boots with little cute shoes...

Story time in matching chairs- Hadley attempts to read to sissy and it is precious!

Following stroller races they are always laying around, so cutely packed...

Creepy crawlers laying all around...

Beautiful stickers on the window- well after valentines day :)

Lawn clutter is my favorite because, well the GIRLS LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scooters right by my decorations!!! Hadley can ride it, Gweny does the scoot....on her tush.

All are simple things I'm learning to love laying around the house. Now that we are getting back to routine (Daddy is back at work) I have the girls from 330 until about 630 on my own (Mark used to get home at 4) so I spend less time cleaning and more time playing.

Happy St Patty's Day

Yes, a day late. Forgot to post these yesterday but that's because we were outside enjoying the 74 degree day :) Took these a little while ago but the hat screams St Patrick's Day.
Lili strikes a pose...

Of course there was only one hat so we were working on "sharing."

Finger Paint Extravaganza!

So with Hadley's extra birthday money I was crazy enough to get her MORE crafts. This girl absolutely loves little projects and crafts and is so good at them in the SHORT period of time we get to do them (gweny's nap and early bed times). It's imposible to do with Gwenyth around and I keep reminding myself in one short year they will both be able to do them together :) This was a planned fingerpainting session (right before bathtime)

Of course, Hadley LOVED IT and was really good at painting on blank paper as well as a coloring book. There is some paint on Hadley but nothing like her sister...

She is so grown up, look at those hands...they used to fit all in my palm :(

Now to the other Van Gogh in our house. Look at how dirty the hand is, but you haven't seen anything yet...

First thing out the gait she tries to eat it (hence the blue mouth), then decides it is SO MUCH more fun to paint her body rather than the paper....

Initially her belly, then her leg. Like I said, this was right before bathtime :)

Combo Party

Since Mae and Hadley were born all of like 17 hours apart we force them to share their celebrations, mean mean parents we are. We kept it small this year with only family for dinner. Old Man, Grandma Lucy, Trina, Lisa, Emma, Ryan, and Grandma Cathy all made it in addition to the immediate family. Once again the girls were spoiled to no end- lots of crafts, learning books, play doh, nighties, rain boots, leapster games, and money for other things also- why weren't birthdays that loaded for me?!?! Continuing in true Mark fashion, here is the castle cake he made for the girlies...

Hadley continues to be traumatized since her candle incident at her second birthday, even at other kids' parties she gets scared. Somehow we were able to light them on Macayla's side but none for my Hadlebear...

Like a Christmas re-run, feverishly opening presents. This picture is also funny because look at Ella hanging out on Old Man's lap?!?!?!

We never really know what Uncle Doug is doing....

Play doh and musical cards, overwhelmed...
Gweny got a front row seat with Great Grandma Lucy for the opening...

Hadley's Birthday Celebrations

What a whirlwind. For our first party we had all Mark's family, my parents, and Hadley's friends over to the house for a cookout. Our little living room was pretty full, with a lot of girls dressed in princess dresses since that was the theme, even the jester (nephew was a clown). Hadley's of course scratched her arm so of all people not to wear it we had the birthday girl sporting shirt and tights?!?! Hadley was blessed with tons of great presents- a "poo poo" pet (pillow pet), princess costume, two princess dolls, play doh, learning books, flashcards, a flashlight, dora for her leapster, a scooter, a roby (bouncey horse), and a tag reader...WOWZER she was a lucky girl for her birthday. Many thanks to all those who endured a very packed house to watch the opening and cake. It was a great day which Hadley is still talking about weeks later.

Mark was a machine when it came to getting these cakes decorated, nothing but the best for his baby girl...

We worked together on this cake, but we had to have a princess cake for our 3 year old princess.

A beautiful cake Mark made for his baby girl he just couldn't stop decorating once he got started.

Emmie, snow white, Gweny little red riding hood, and Elliott the jester being spoiled by Aunt Deb.

Gweny just loved being in this costume which was a heart breaker, so stinking cute.

Her own Aurora (sleeping beauty) necklace and earings...

Hadley being pushed along by Zoe and Kylie, otherwise she'd wimp out of the attention.

Hadley testing out her new scooter, thx paw paw.

Gweny hanging out by Ms Holly, she just adores her :)

The sweetest little red riding hood I've ever seen. Tired from the party but not giving in, determined to play with the balloon until she crashes.

Survival of the Birthdays

There is a birthday rush in our family that is intense. Unfortunately because of sickness in our house we missed Ella's, next was Elliott's, enjoy the pictures. Followed by Emmie's then of course Hadley and Macayla's, are you tired yet because I am?! All this within one month plus a couple of friend's birthdays.

At Aunt Nikki and Uncle Jason's for Elliott's party Gweny sucked Pawpaw into playing on the steps...over and over and over and...

It was a Toy Story 3 party, hence Elliotts outfit.
Quick pic of Gweny on the steps, too cute she is.

Of course Elliott had to get stuff related to car washes, I believe it is a 2 year deal- sorry Nikki.

Somehow on this side of the family I usually walk away with quite a lot of things for my girls at every birthday party. I thought this picture was priceless, wearing an all hearts shirt and even pants pockets I snapped this with her heart monkey from Aunt Deb

Hadley and her favorite, Uncle Jiptz.

Next party was Emmie's, a panda theme with bamboo silverware!!!! Gweny sucked in Uncle Jiptz this go round to carry her everywhere!

Emmie got some panda bear stuffed animals which of course matched her shirt and cake.

Hadley decided she was going to be the photographer so this is her view of the party...

Lastly, all the kids enjoying her big gift. A sweet red retro kitchen, my kids couldn't get enough...
