The Good Stuff

At the end of August we celebrated Granda Don and Aunt Nikki's birthday at Chinnatis. It's always a good meal and nice to see everyone together. Of course, we always get our family pictures.

Parker Sandwich :)

Grandma BeBe spoils the kiddos with treats, little miss Emmie is enjoying her M&Ms

The Goins' Gang

Finally got an updated pictures of the Goins' grandkids. Our last one didn't have Parker!!

Parker's first experience with big girl food- pancakes :) MAN did she love it!!

This is Hadley's "cool" pose, well in her mind she looks cool...Spidey-like

My dad had his other knee replaced this month so we spent the weekend before with him just goofing around, throwing birthday parties too :)

Gweny's "cool" pose, just like her big sissy.

Looks sweet and innocent...looks are VERY decieving. She is actually turning into quite a cool cat in her trying three's. She's got this little high voice and is just starting to learn she doesn't have to ALWAYS do things Hadley's way. At first she is hesitant and shy, but once she gets the hang of it...well we're all in trouble!

No idea.

Dress up time, PawPaw style.

Tooooo sweet, my girls.

"Super Why Party"

On Gweny's actually birthday we continued our tradition of having ice cream cake and opening a few small gifts. Gweny was so embarassed when we sang to her. Look at this face.

Mom and dad got her a mr potato head doll, which she is obsessed with!!

Hadley wants one so bad, but maybe we can ask santa I keep telling her!

Parker and Hadley got her outfit changes for her potato head!!!

Surprisingly they played with them for hours....

This girl loves some ice cream cake and is learning her new smile!

The following Sunday we had a party for her at our house, Mark's family and the Strohs.

Parker getting some pawpaw time.

So many gifts!

She of course got super shy, and grandma bebe had to help her with the candles.

This is her super why theme, which means super heros, which is the incredibles. Mark's interpretation of the incredible symbol, Gweny style!

Present time!

She even took a break from presents to peepee, we are getting better. Sometimes.

Grandma bebe had little bags for everyone. Parker got a fluffy skirt that is PRECIOUS!!

Pawpaw got Parker to sleep and decided to take a picture with all the Goins' grandkids.

She LOVES her new tool set from Pawpaw and Auntie Mandie and Uncle James.

Six month pix @ Seven months?!

Now that Parker realizes she can move pictures aren't quite as easy. At her six month shots she was just starting to sit up, but not at seven months thats no problem for her. Nows shes thinking about getting to sitting from laying????!!!! Already!! She has also officially said moooom. One brief incident but Mark witnessed it also so I'm not making it up. We've had yet another ear infection, which let me know she now weighs 17 lbs 9 oz...my big girl who likes her food :) I'm soaking in all the lasts knowing I wn't have a non-mobile baby again, but I also look forward to her playing along with her sisters. As soon as she grows out of stuff we are packing it up an moving it out, it's kind of nice not to store all those things anymore!!!!!!!

Enjoy Parkie as we tend to call her...

Summer Fun

Parker is such a peaceful sleeper when she naps.

We celebrated the Stroh girls' birthday in August...the girls had a blast. Confused what the pinata business was about but attempted to go along with things...

Some reason both my girls swung left handed...should I be worried? Both definitely connected though!!!!! So proud, soon to be little softball players.

After many falls of the pinata, we finally broke it open and the chaos began. My kids just stood their until everyone told them to PICK UP THE CANDY!!

For some reason Parker loves to be upside down. Usually we just let her head hang over our legs, but dad took it to a new level and SHE LOVES THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at that face!!

We continue to work on potty training. We have some good days and lots of really, really bad days...

Oh family time. Cuddling on the couch talking about our days...

It scares me how grown up Hadley is getting. She LOVES school, can't talk about it enough. When I walk in to pick her up she just lights up and then starts telling me all about what they did. One afternoon I walked in and she's sitting on her spot on the rug raising her hand to answer a question. I almost passed out!! She'll be doing stuff around the house and suddenly start singing one of the songs she's learned whether its days of the week, months of the year, stand on up...she is just soaking all of the good stuff up like I knew she could.

One of my favorite things she does is when I drop her off in the morning, she runs to the window waiting on me to leave. I drive by it, stop, wave and blow her a kiss. She just LIGHTS up and my heart swells.
