Hadley's Birthday Party

I decided it would be best to do Hadley's birthday party before Parker so I wasn't as stressed or tired when family came over to celebrate. Hadlely was bummed it wasn't a big party, we just had family which was actually really nice. Less chaos than her previous parties. Mark of course took on the task of decorating the cake. I was responsible for making it that week, and then he would do the rest while I got the house ready...

The girls just wanted to help any way they could (mostly they wanted to taste).

Enjoying the fruits of dad's labor...

I have to say my husband always amazes me...it starts out scary and a little bit late, but he always gets the cake together. This one turned out beautiful and Hadley was beyond excited to show it off...

So proud of her Tiana that Dada made her.

She was beyond excited to blow out the candles, and Gweny got embarassed like everyone was singing to her not her sissy.

This is the presents face.

Making a wish....four candles took about twelve blows to put out!

Next was present time. She was incredibly spoiled this go round. Clothes, dolls, a LeapPad, a bicycle, and gymnastics gear....so blessed.

Now we wait for spring to ride (I know it's been fairly warm but with the newest bundle I don't want them to realize they can be outside playing?!?!) Terrible I know :)

There was one more party this past weekend at my parents house with my family, those pictures will join us soon...hopefully tomorrow I can accomplish Parker's two weeks pictures....and sending out her announcements :) That's if the girls go to the sitters and stay all day. On Monday, Gweny had to come home before lunch because she has been dealing with a case of the runs from hell that started on Saturday and just won't give up. Today both girls had to come home before morning snack time. Needless to say I am not sure why I am up blogging right now and not sleeping, but mom's are crazy. Say a little prayer I get to have a Parker and Mommy day tomorrow, for everyone's sanity and safety hahaha.

Lazy Days with Parker

She looks so tiny....but happy in daddy's arms.

She has such crazy hand positions....like "what, what do you want now?"

Daddy is so proud of catching this shot....

This is her thoughtful sleep pose...

Beautiful little hands that will never be this small again. I wonder what they will do- whether its having kiddos, becoming a professional, choosing to work out of school...what in the world is in store for Parker?

So stinking content...

A week after she was born she had her first blow out (yellow on the side by the giraffe), followed by two pees all over herself, and her cord having fallen off. It was quite an adventurous diaper change?!?!?

Already putting her hands up near her bottle...next to train her to hold it herself! Hehe.

Newborn Pics

We had them take Parker's pictures at the hospital. They turned out perfectly. We have the cd for anyone that would like a print (if you can't just pull them from here and print them). Also we have them all in black and white plus there are two more that I can't put on until her announcement get to everyone :)
Enjoy the beauty.

Parker had her weight check appointment today which of course she did AWESOME at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's up to 7 lbs 14.5 ozs...already passed her birth weight and not wearing mommy out by any means. She is moving into about every four hours and taking significantly more each time, about 3 1/2 to 5 ozs each time! So big SO FAST!!!!!!!!!!!

One Week OLD!?!?!

So I forced Parker to do a photo shoot today. Yes, I am aware it is one day past her one week, but life happens :) She was such a good subject, holding perfectly still for mama. ENJOY! My baby girl, already 8 days old :)

Leaving

On Sunday, I woke up with a heavy heart. I knew my oldest two girlies were leaving for the ENTIRE week. I haven't left them this long well, not since Mexico when Gweny was all of 3 months old. I had a lot of emotions flowing that day. The girls again acted like it was Christmas that Parker was still at our house. Making over her in the most beautiful way. We continue to have to work on boundaries but that is not going to go away for quite some time. Them going to my parents was really the best blessing we could have asked for. Hanging out with just Parker has been awesome. I am physically feeling better which will help me with the girls in the evenings next week. Plus the girls are having a blast. Every night I talk to them they ask about Parker. Gweny is using the big girl potty a few times a day on her own and Hadley is LOVING life playing with all her cousins she doesn't get to see enough.

Our complete family : )

Curious as can be....

Lots of loving around here.

She is such an angel. Having this time with her is absolutely priceless. For me, Mark and Parker. We've had a great week?!?! She got to meet Mark's dad, PawPaw on Sunday night. His sisters and their families came over that night also, wanting to spoil the little lady. On Monday night we decided to get Mama out of the house because I was STIR crazy!?!?! We met my girlfriend, Holly, for dinner. It was so weird and nice going to dinner with one little one versus the two girls. It was calm and I ate my food hot. An overall great experience!!! Plus I had my first grown up drink...which resulted in a headache until the next day at noon!!!

On Tuesday night my girlfriend Kelly and her boyfriend came over to meet her and spoil us with some food also. I absolutely LOVE showing her off. I forgot how a beautiful baby can make people stop and smile. No matter where you are or what you're doing. She puts such a great smile on peoples faces. Such a blessing and only a week old.

Before her doctors appointment on Monday I did her first bath. Of course it's was a sink bath because her cord was still on Monday. She was crazy kicking, knowing what was coming. Just like most babies she hated the rag part but when I did her hair and held her head under the faucet she was in heaven...

She's so little?!?!

Happy girl with the hair cleaning...

A picture in Daddy's favorite, the afterbath pooh towel.

Fluffy hair is back.

Digging the dreads :)

She is too stinking sweet. I wish I could say we are in a routine, but not yet?!?! She does eat every three hours, except on long stretch in the mornings like 5-10. So there is hope we can shift that later in the night : ) Honestly though, not breastfeeding her on me has made this a whole new experience, in a good way once I emotionally got on board with things. I don't dread having to feed her then pump and pray she doesn't want to latch again (Gweny was every hour if anyone remembers?!?!). Plus I already have 6 servings frozen, every breastfeeding Mama's dream :)
