Oh Our House

So the girls discovered their Halloween costumes and needed to try them out. You just never know what's going to happen at our house. I do still have the birthday party pictures just wanted to do a quick post today. The girlies had an eventful weekend, spending time at Grandma Bebe's Friday night and seeing Grandma and Pawpaw (my parents) at our house last night. This weekend we got to celebrate Auntie Mandie's birthday with a grown up night out, dinner and dave and busters. Good Times. On Friday night Mark came up with our perfect name combination for our third addition to our family :)

Regardless, boy or girl, we are going with the name Parker. It's so nice to have a name nailed down because I HATE calling the baby "it." Hadley says Parker and Gweny says Baaaaby. Since Hadley got to go along to my last check up, 16 weeks, she now likes to listen to Parker. She won't talk to him/her but she loves to listen to the water. Dr Froehlich let her help doppler Parker's heartbeat and you could hear the amniotic fluid so Hadley says "Eww water." So Dr Froehlich goes into details about how the baby loves water and that's how it grows and stays alive. She was apparently laying on Becky lap the other night and heard her stomach sounds and yelled, "Grandma BeBe, you have a baby in your belly!!!!" So now we have to explain the difference in sounds, but overall PRETTY ADORABALE!!!

Oh yes, back to the names...

BoY: Parker Henry Goins

GirL: Parker Henny Goins (not certain on spelling for middle name quite yet).

Both are after our grandpas. We were worried we'd have to go with Henrietta for the girls middle name, then the lightening struck and as always Mark came up with the perfect middle name. Now we wait to know which version it is...we are going to find out at our anniversary dinner, October 4th!!!! Mark doesn't know the creative plan in the announcement so I won't share details yet!!

Van Wert County Fair

Another year at the fair has come and gone. We only drug oursevles up there for one evening and of course it was 90+ degrees outside, then we finally got on the rides with our $14 bracelets to end of having lightening move in and the rides SHUT DOWN. Needless to say I was hormonal and VERY unhappy so we did not return to the fair. Prior to weather, Hadley got some decent ride time and Gweny learned how to throw a tantrum and stop rides....awesome?!?!

However, this sweet wave by Gweny does sort of make all the hassle and heat worth it :)

Hadley was in her element, going nuts on the rides!

The last time around on the rollercoaster Hadley braved the back section with a boy...she just kept giggling and staring at him with google-y-eyes...

Can't wait till Gweny gets more comfortable, ideally next year we will get our money's worth.

ZOO TIME

Warm weather seems like a perfect excuse to cruise the zoo...
Oh they did both have on hello kitty shirts and skirts!!

Daddy teaching Hadley all about the giraffes...

The petting zoo is a required stop. Gweny got scared of the goats this time and none tried to mount her ha...

Jungle gym time means mommy and daddy got a little break.

The look miserable but I think mostly they were confused about what was going on...

We finally caught the train which Hadley has been begging for ever since we got the zoo pass a year ago. She LOVED it...

Gweny too!

Cheese Dada...

First round of Merry-go-round was good. Second not so pretty...

Hadley always loves it!

Update

Time has passed by and you will see by the date on the pictures that these are all fairly older, but still enjoyable. Jess and I decided to get the kiddos hair cut in the middle of my dye- four kids under the age of four in one salon for a thirty minute period was intense, but my stylist Janahn handled it like a pro...Mason LOVED his time in the chair...

Hadley and Mae heard there were suckers involved for good kids so they were on their best behavior!!

Gweny actually sat still and enjoyed it...

Mason stood for part, always flexible with the kiddos Janahn is :)

Later that day we had Evan's fifth birthday party so all the kiddos were without a nap because the haircut was of course a priority :) Surprisingly my children held it together.

Evan is too big. An army cake was his choice for the celebration.

The usual water balloon fight occurred, as always my kids were clueless but they still had fun pretending to know what was going on.

Next was bucket races. Again, my daughters didn't understand but played along anyway.

Mae had a classic wipeout which Stacy caught on film. Next, Hadley gave it a try and dropped her bucket, resulting in a pout!

The nap was definitely missed on Hadley's part, she is halfway falling asleep in the water!! Thank goodness for water wings.

What Mom, I was just playing!!!

Mason just couldn't handle all the fun.

I like this pic, I plan to layer this when I master my editing program :)

It actually happened. All six grandkids sitting still!!!!!! We had to snap some pics, but this will only be current for 6 more months :)

This picture makes my heart melt. They are SO big I can't stand it.

Goofy girl.

We celebrating Aunt Nikki and PaPaw Goins' birthday together. I attempted to snag some photos but that of course didn't go well. Surprise, Jiptz has my girls?!?!

They ran around outside like crazy kids...couldn't get the Goins' group of grandkids together...

Emmie stopped for a good shot.

Drive by shot of Hadley!!

Gwenyth Turned TWO?

So I cannot believe my baby is 2. Honestly it just went too fast. She is my sassy, vivacious girl that won't be told no and fully believes she is Hadley's age and capable of ANYTHING Hadley can do. I love her spunk even though it can be trying. If I didn't have another baby on the way I would be beside mysefl knowing I no longer have a baby. I have two toddlers?!?!?! As always, to embarass her, here is the first shot of her on that warm September day in 2009. My Gwenyth, Gweny, Gwenzo, GwenGwen, Sissy. We love you and can't wait to share pictures of the ladybug parties which were both great fun :)
