Digging Deep

My expression for these past few weeks is, "when it rains it pours." So many things are going on in our life right now that I honestly don't know how to begin trying to deal with them. Mark and I find it ironic that it's occurring right around Easter, the time when we are reminded of Jesus' sacrifice for us. I recall a sermon once that told us that yeah, God does give us more than we can handle, mostly because he wants us to turn to Him. Which, is exactly what we have had to do these past few weeks.

Right when we made the decision to move to Uncle Ray's house, which still needs work, everything seemed to start happening. Coworkers became ill or passed away, finding out Gweny is on her way to a set of tubes, I've come down with a sinus infection, the discovery of a lump which is sending me to a breast surgeon tomorrow, and Grandma was recently admitted to the hospital with dizziness and low blood counts which have resulted in her being quarantined.

Even with all this going on, we are able to see that we are BLESSED, truly blessed. We have two beautiful daughters that wake up happy, full of smiles, love and trust toward us- their parents.

Here is a glimpse into our past weekend, I still plan to post the Yo Gabba Gabba pictures but these are too sweet to hold on to.

We took the girls over to the new place to look around and see just what is left to do so we can get our move on...

These kids are TOOOO much together, anxiously awaiting the Easter Egg hunt. They define happiness, just look at their faces.

Hadley went crazy at the Easter Egg hunt. She was so funny, only picking up the plastic eggs with stuff in them. The hard boiled didn't shake and were promptly thrown down. Mark tried three times to get her to take them and it wasn't happening, not in her basket!!

Look for updates tomorrow, hopefully we have good news!

Just remember that you are also surrounded my a loving family and lots of good friends willing to help out at the drop of a hat (like me!!) Just call if you need anything - even if only a little chat or venting session! Your girls are beautiful and you two are blessed for sure in lots of ways. Stay strong - you're good at that! Love ya! xoxo
