Whirl Wind Weekend

The weekend Grandma Lucy passed, we had a shining light amongst the sadness. My cousin Kara got married. So we all got dolled up and went to play with our cousins, party the night away if you will. The kiddos had a BLAST and the adults had a lot of fun themselves :)

Of course, because we wanted to take pictures, Gwenyth had a fit....my sassy girl.

Mark thinks its so funny to snap pictures of me when I'm not paying attention, but look at Parker grabbing sissy's hand :)

My new favorite family shot, all three children with their eyes open...

Partying it up so much she passed out on the table.

The cousins lined up watching the first dance...

So on Sunday evening we had Grandma Lucy's viewing and afterwards some of the family went to hang out at Grandma's house. Just to be together. Well somehow my child ended up in my high heels and look very closely at those lips...

Yes that would be hot pink lipstick of Grandma Lucy's which I never once saw her wear so I have no clue how they found it, but they sure did and thought they were so pretty. So after yelling at them I took a picture :)

Hadley did much better with her application then Gweny did....

It was a moment that lightened the tough weekend, and I GUARANTEE Grandma Lucy and Grandpa Hank were looking down, laughing as hard as could be because it was precious even though they know better than to play in make up that isn't theirs.

These girls are such a duo and I get more and more excited at the idea of Parker joining them in their adventures. She is sitting up fairly well and scooting during tummy time. I worry it won't be long and we will have ourselves a mover...

Oh Billy

We made it up to Liberty Township to visit Billy and Heather, finally meeting baby Kennedy. Of course, my girls are crazy and Billy loves to appease so they were all over the place.

A little bigfoot...

A little more bigfoot...

Some super scariness..

Some silliness...

One exhausted little baby...trying to keep awake...heavy eyelids...so sleepy...

Group shot. Baby Kennedy is three months older than Parker...

My big girls helping to hold...

Apparently I have to go to other peoples houses to get my children to sit still and take a picture together?!?!

So Much In Such a Short TIME?!?!

I'm not sure how I have survived the last month. Literally. We are trying to conquer the world and I wonder how I can keep up at this pace. Thank goodness for silver cans of mommy pop and great friends and family to listen to me stress. We have hit a TON of milestones...

Gweny is attempting to get into big girl panties. We are by no means perfect, but there is improvement. She has a classic line, "It's not working" when she doesn't have to go then...."Moooommmmy it's working" as she runs to the potty!!

Parker got her two bottom teeth, and an ear infection, but handled it like a little champion.

She's trying to think about sleeping through the night. Periodically, I could definitely get used to it however never plan on it because she's a tricky little lady. With her increase in Zantac we have definitely noticed a difference with her sleep patterns.

Parker turned six months old already?!?!

Gweny got pin worm. Seriously. Look it up, need I say more?!?! We all got wormed at our house,
 we survived. It was disgusting.

But how cute was this gown?

My baby started "school," thanks to an awesome groupon purchase. She goes to Youthland Academy five days a week, full time. I was beyond stressed about what we were going to do with Hadley because I knew she was bored with in home daycare and needed SOMETHING more. Around here no transportation is provided and most preschools were half days. After much stress we stumbled into the perfect place and Hadley is on day two and SO happy there. This was her picture before we left Monday. She was nervous.

Loving on her sissy, Gwen, before she goes. Gwen of course was A WRECK. "I wanna go school," over and over and over.

We get updates throughout the day from her teacher, Ms Holly (what a great name right?!?!)

Loving the busy work and crafting. This is all too perfect for my baby girl.

Because nothing else is going on in our lives,
we decided to get a puppy. Her name is Gracie.
She is in a rescue in Bluffton and we can get her on Sept 22nd to add to our family :)
We have to wait because they have to get all three
rounds of shots and spayed before they will release
her which is fine because that's what the adoption fee covers. Gracie is TOOOOOOO sweet!

Oh, and of course we are attempting to close on this beautiful house. Something always comes up and I feel like my brain is going to explode. Luckily the current owners, Troy and Karen are so sweet and flexible with us surrounding all these issues. By the end of August this will be our home. Next it's finding a job, but I have full faith that will happen how it is supposed to because this is His plan.

Welcome to our world :)

Country Concert 2012

Last winter we joked around about leaving all the grandkids with mom and dad and going to country concert. Well they were dumb enough to do it. From Thursday to Sunday throughout fourth of July week. All I can say was HOTTTT. It was over a hundred everyday, but many thanks to my brother and Stacy, the air conditioned camper was phenomenal!!!!!! Way better than roughing it on the Vista side like we always did back in the day. My hubby even became a little more country that week, wearing a camo cowboy hat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Besides not having the kids, hanging out, and drinking beer we also go to see some great acts- Zac Brown Band and Blake Shelton to name my favorites :) I always love running around catching pics of the crazy looking people and Lord knows when I drink I'm a social butterfly. So enjoy, we sure did!!

That man actually had a straight on mullet as well. It was spectacular and he didn't even know I was behind him!!

Jess' last name :)

No idea with the horse here?!

Stacy would be foundling him, yes.

Everyone loves sweaty blue balls right?!

Oh alcohol :)

The giant Leinenkugel chair- Mark loves his summer shandy!

Joe actually using the cup holder...

Boys will be boys.

My brother smiling in a picture?!?!?! Must have been heat/alcohol induced!

We found ways to entertain ourselves...

Great times with the family. Could maybe convince Mark next year I'm just not sure...would love to have more company BRIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!

What is With Number 2?

Oh my Gwenyth Emery. She is such a lively personality. I never know what she has up her sleeve. Her mood fluctuate so much I might think she's coming over to hit me and she stops, says I love you and gives me a heart melting smile. She will always keep me on my toes and for that I am grateful.

Not even sure why she is upset here. We are at our cousins', Shavannah's graduation party.

MOMMMMMMM! Ugh.

I mean she's two what could seriously be that wrong?

Pawpaw will make it better.

These pictures of Parker are funny. She is only 3 and a half months and still has her red hair?!?!

So mad I'm going to take off my shoes?!?!

My sweet, sweet baby.
