BUCKET GIRLS

As I said, "anything goes a grandma and grandpa's house." These girls are something else. We had them all stripped down from a dinner of spaghetti and they started standing in these buckets so it seemed like a perfect photo opportunity.

Ella's face in that one is just plain priceless.

If only my feet were so small and cute?!

All went well until all three wanted to be in the same bucket...

Weekend Home

Hadley is so blessed to have her great grandparents on my dad's side. They get so excited to see her and she always just takes in their love!! This picture with great grandpa just MELTS my heart. I plan to get her with my dad and Mark's dad then with her daddy of course...

Great Grandma has been through the ringer in the past few years with medical things, but in this picture I can just see a beaming great grandmother and that is all. Bless her heart...

So this is a glimpse into the CHAOS that occurs when all these kids are together. You have to look at the position of the horse (this is a four wheeled horse that they can sit on and roll around)...the wheels are both in the AIR?!?! She started propped on the bucket thanks to Ella, but then just went crazy and decided to rev the horsey up which resulted in complete wipe out. This picture captures her trying to SAVE the animal crackers!?!?!? that were in her hand...NEVER a dull moment from MaeMae.

Ella looking innocent after the incident...

This is classic MaeMae, her most recent injury from falling down at her house. If she didn't have a scab we would wonder what was wrong...

Lastly this reminds us of the ANYTHING GOES AT GRANDMA'S idea. A bucket on the head with a hot dog?!?!?! it's a circus....

4th of July

For the third row in a year we spent the fourth of July weekend at the Jess and Doug's place in Michigan...this year was different- no adult beverages for preggo, but still a good time with family and friends!! Between boat rides, fireworks, cookouts, and the annual cornhole tourney time just FLEW by!!! As always, thanks to my sister and her hubby for letting us come, it was a much needed getaway!

The target dollar bin is my weakness, but Hadley sure looks cute!!

My favorite, FIREWORKS!!!!

As you can see Hadley is STRUGGLING to stay awake, but watched every firework saying "wooow." Right when the grand finale ended Hadley closed her eyes- OUT COLD. She didn't wake up for the boat ride back in, taking off the life jacket or the ten minute walk back to the trailer. Bless her heart!!!! She loves fireworks as much as I do I guess!!!

Evan has a mixed look of fear and excitement about a boat ride...

Erika's Graduation Party

Three weeks ago, we went home for my cousin's graduation party...as always a majority of my pictures are of the three amigos!?!?!?! Regardless, congrats Erika and we definitely enjoyed ourselves at your party.

Just being goofy we decided to do a belly pic and I, sadly am not the winner!

MaeMae felt left out, so here is her view...

Always so patient, Daddy & Hadley

The girls started attacking the cornhole games...

Hadley and I surpised Mark with this sign on the door for Father's Day, you can see how proud he is!!

Another belly picture, this was at 29 weeks (2 weeks ago), Hadley doesn't really get what's going on with mommy. She often points at it and says hi. We also have her playing with a baby doll that she kisses, hugs, and holds so hopefully she has some awareness of a baby.

She really is something else...

Last of Mt Echo Pics

You'd think we were there all night with all the pictures we took, but we weren't. Everyone cooperated really well and it just flew by.

The older cousin attempting to help out, so sweet...

Baby, oh baby.

As I enter my 30th week with Gweny I have so many different emotions than I did with Hadley. The fear with Hadley was labor, wondering if I would know what to do with her or even if I could be a good mom. With Gweny it is so different. My biggest worry is having enough love for Hadley who gets every second of my time and still giving love and time to Gweny. Mark and I want to take a picture a day of Gweny like we basically did with Hadley, but I know it will be difficult. We will be tied (whereas before it was him and I both for Hadley), one for each of us and I know times are going to be frustrating. Hadley is going to be on the verge of her terrible twos right when Gweny joins us. Then there is moving Hadley to a new room, her beginning to walk (late I know?!?!), potty training, getting rid of the bink- all while adjusting to a new little sister. I know we will get through it just like we got through the surprise of Hadley. I keep reminding myself that I don't have grad school nor a wedding to deal with this time around so that should decrease my stress dramatically. Another stress reliever was a positive test result we got this past week. For those of you that were aware, I failed my one hour glucose challenge and had to go for the three hour test. If you know me you know I do NOT do needle sticks. Just my luck it took five sticks to get four blood draws. MOST importantly the test came back negative so the worry of dealing with gestational diabetes is gone : ) Lots of worrying and praying, with everything working out. Enough being sentimental, look for more pictures tomorrow...

Mandie and Marley, striking a pose...

Emmie & Elliott

How bout this face?!?!

When they took these last time, I bet Mark never envisioned he'd be in the parent picture...but he does it sooooo well!!
