Fourth & Fifth Christmas Celebrations!

On Christmas day we went in to see Great Grandma Lucy who always loves seeing the girls. Couldn't get Gweny to sit still and this is the best shot we could get from Hads...

Christmas Morning shot of my grown up little baby!!!! (Cinnamon Rolls at Grandmas)

It's totally the camera angle on this picture, but it is such a funny face by Gweny :) Like "Mom come on I am not awake yet?!?!"

Mark will kill me for this shot as I completely caught him by surprise, he was playing with Gweny and I yelled his name and CLICK!!! Daddy and his baby girl.

Gweny being spoiled...

Hadley and Emmie attack Shelby with hair pretty time!!

Believe it or not this was a "fun" tackle session. The girls wrestle all the time with each other, usually resulting in crying or bruises...

Auntie Mandie made it in time to spoil her little ladies.

Christmas at Grandma and Pawpaws

This is one crazy group of kids!! Before we would allow the opening to begin we sorted by families so the Mom's coud supervise....lil Mason was helping with the sorting process!

They were all too cute sitting on the couch together, opening as fast as possible of course Gweny just kind of grabbed whatever was close and needed much help from Uncle Joe to actually open things!

Gweny's confused in this picture, but all the while happy. She got Jesse, her very own. Normally she will play with woody and jesse for hours in mom's toy room and now we have our very own!! She talks to them in her sweet lil voice...Who wouldn't kill for Hadley's sweet little face here...

Her very own piano?!?!?!?!?! She pretty much only plays it with her butt, it's too sweet.

After gifts were open it was wrestle Uncle Joe time....ridiculous kids!

Christmas Morning, Gifts from Santa!!

So being all about the holiday of Christmas, I tried hard to make time for all family things this year. We made a special deal out of asking Santa to come to our house on Christmas Eve so that we could travel up to my parents for their celebration Christmas night to return for Mark's Dad's family on Sunday night, needless to say a VERY busy weekend. The important part is Santa came early and we sure had a good morning. The girls actually "slept in," making it to 730 (Hadley got up at 515 last year on Xmas Day). Keeping with the traditions I had as a kid, the girls got pajamas for the holiday from Mom and Dad the night before, however it was a late night so they woke up and opened them in their rooms before they saw the goods!!!! Mark was cruel and made them sit in the iving room and eat cinnamon rolls in front of the tree filled with presents!!!!

Eventually I am going to upload/navigate my programs to fix up these photos but we're lucky I'm even posting since I've been sick since January 1st?!! I have two children that know they can move...this is as good as it gets for taking a picture in front of the tree. (but man are their pjs cute!)

Gweny was precious, lots of "ohhhh, awwwww, wassssit (I think her form of what is that)."

Having had a Christmas celebration at Grandma Bebe's Hadley learned how to get really excited about gifts. This is her very own tinkerbell watch!!

Such a grown up she is becoming...

Santa brought the girls their very own back packs, complete with their names. We call them their grandma bags, they can pack whatever toys they want for the car ride in their grandma bags!!

Everyone in our family knows who wears this crazy orange wig.....DJ LANCE, Gweny loves things on her head and just cracks herself up with this on. Plus he sings and she can shake her booty!!!!

The aftermath, presents opened gifts scattered, but most importantly children quietly playing :)

Still happy at Grandma and Grandpas following our 3 hour drive.

First of Three Christmas Celebrations

Our first Christmas celebration was on Christmas Eve, Eve at Mark's mom's apartment. This was both Hadley and Gweny's first round of opening gifts. As expected, Gweny could care less. Likes the paper most and really just preferred running around the room. Hadley, well she was more focused on quantity than actual presents. She would open it, chuck it and say "next present or more presents." Hadley's big gift here was the Leapster 2, which she LOVES (granted she can play the actual cartridge games but she sure dominates at art gallery and match game we put on there. Showed her one time how to navigate and you better believes she needs NO help :) Smart little lady she is!! However if you tell her, "Hadley you're one smart cookie" she immediately says, "No I'm not, I'm just Hadley mama." The girls also got their zoo membership renewed which continues to get more and more fun as they get excited and see things while they are there.

Sorry it's sideways, new camera, new computer no clue quite how to do the editing yet, but she's too darling not to share. My grown up, helper!!

Gweny loves things on her head, even if she's making a fashion disaster...

We get to the party and what do the older kids do? Line up in front of the tv, it's actually sweet.

Gweny and her pawpaw.

Hadley with pawpaw, they fight for time with him!
Hadley and the newly engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aunt Mandie! (As of yesterday, we are sooooo excited for her and can't wait to hear all the details and wedding planning).
Look at these cousins, loving on each other!

Hads being silly with Uncle Wyatt...
Gweny doing her magic work, playing with the paper!

I'm unwrapping her present while she plays with paper on the ground?!?! Such a 15 month old!

Hadley with her favorite, Jiptz opening presents (Yo Gabba Gabba underwear HOW COOL!)
Overall it was a great night the kids had a blast which is definitely what the day was about!
