HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hopefully Grandma Elling enjoyed her day today. She is sixty and doing so with finesse. Her grandbabies love her so much, even though I know most of the time she is busy cooking for them, cleaning, or dealing with baby Parker (who is actually going to be her baby!!!!).

The kids will hopefully realize when they are older everything she does for them without complaining. We hope to give her the best present ever this year, bringing her babies home. :)

Love you Mom.

Chaos

So we have survived the month of July. Not sure how. We went home three of four weekends, plus a trip to country concert.  We are attempting to close on the house next week and I feel like there isn't enough time for everything that involves- inspections, nogotiations, paperwork, insurance, appraisals...I see why realtors earn their money because it is a lot of work. Somehow the girls just keep giving me the humor and love I need to not have a complete meltdown everytime the loan agent calls with another request or question. This was God's doing and I fully believe He is going to make sure this works out. I am so excited about the idea of them never remembering another "home," and I can't wait to start our life in our forever home surrounded by friends and family that have seemed so far away. It's obviously with regret that we leave those here in Cincinnati, but we will be back regularly since I had to fall in love with a Norwoodian :)

This is definitely a little newborn baby chair which Gweny has made her own?????!

It isn't a normal night unless my girls are running around in their underwear!!

Loving her sissy.

What Mama?

I have pictures of all the girls cuddling with dad, watching television. Too scary how much they look alike!

Parker's Four Month Shots

As I post this I realize Parker is over five months now. That's not a good turn around on my part, plus I didn't even get a chance to edit them. She doesn't even look the same any more. She now has two teeth that have broke through, she can sit up for a second without help. She rolls like a mad woman. She now eats mashed potatoes and cereal. She's gone to her first wedding and funeral. She's had her second ear infection and since this picture she has gained 2 1/2 pounds?!?!?!
She now says Dada, not on purpose, in her babbling but Mark and I have both heard it. Everyday she continues to surprise and amaze us. She has turned into a perfect baby, and I really don't remember a time before Parker.

Enjoy this little beauty.

Crazy faces, part one...

and Part 2

MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So after years of talking, action was FINALLY taken. We found our perfect FOREVER house. It was all random how it happened, for sale by owner for three days and now pending closing ours :)

This is Mark's New Home
(A Fully wired/hooked up workshop, we'll eventually  have to add heat/air)

This is my new home, potentially sleeping in this kitchen. More than I ever dreamed possible. Eat in too so the whole dinning table which is a family heirloom that my rents have will fit ;)

My second home is this CRAFT ROOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the basement, my own room. I don't even have desk space now but soon I will have a whole room. CANNOT wait!

This is Mark and I's new home....the two person jacuzzi in the master :)

Lastly, my girls' new home. It sits on about an acre and a half. It has 3 1/2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and a completely finished basement. Everything we've dreamed of and more. Will give more pictures once we close :)

Aug 9th! Posession, Sept 24th!!!

Next question is jobs. Well none yet. My boss knows and is helping me network and make connections. The ideal situation is to stay in the VA, but if we hit the holidays (meaning T-day) and still no job we will have to reconsider or I will drive to Dayton regularly. So say some prayers so that this transition can go smoothly. There is a ton of anxiety surrounding a such a change, eleven years in Cincinnati eight years at the VA here. Target around the corner, Miss Holly for daycare...so many things we will have to adjust to, but most of all 1.9 miles from my parents. Less than three miles from Bri and Cyle. Less than 8 miles from my sister and my brother. EVERYTHING we have ever wanted.

Growing Girls

Toward the middle of June, Grandma Bebe came to stay with us for a few days because Miss Holly was on vacation. The girls were IN HEAVEN!?!?!?!?! Grandma Bebe needed a vacation after four straight days with my three crazy kids!!

Good times out back.

Can never get everyone looking at the same time?!

This face is priceless..

This one too...

and of course this one also :)

She keeps getting bigger. I LOVE seeing her in all my favorite outfits that were Hadley and Gweny's, PLUS all the beautiful things Parker got as gifts...my last kid in a 3-6 outfit :(

So sweet, my little girl dressed in cherries!

MASON IS TWO?!?!

Our little man is two, how could this be?! His smile, his great use of words, his silly laugh, his desire to show his belly, his big boy hands, his beautiful blond hair and blue eyes are all things we have come to love about this guy. I'm so proud he is my Godson. We all just adore Bubba.

He had a tractor for his cake which he had a great motor sound for :) and got TONS of presents which all the kids attempted to enjoy for him?!?! Much love to our little man.
As Gweny would say, "Where is my Mas??"

So sweet eating his cake he really didn't get that messy!!

Parker etting spoiled by Aunt JuJu!!

Behind!!!

Time to start catching up and posting regularly. Little Miss Parker who looks WAY different than in these pics since they are a month old, attempted to start cereal which was completely a bust. Poor thing gags and shivers in an attempt to swallow it, and we have tried about twenty more times since.  Of course, we had to get pictures of her first try...

Oh my daddy, what is this???

My little helpers, Hadley & Gweny wanted to feed her, they just couldn't understand that she isn't old enough for them to just spoon it in.

We traveled home for my families annual golf tourney, good times with great family and friends. My parents are always so good at just taking over and giving mom a much needed break :) Cuddle time with pawpaw...mom slept in :)

My girlfriend Sarah made it in from Chicago, not sure she knew what she was in for. All seven of my parents grand kids, her, Mark and I, Grandma BeBe and my parents under one roof= CHAOS!

Darn pawpaw and his blue bubble gum!!?!?

Not sure who passed out first, Sarah or Parker.

Sweet dreams :)

The next day Bri and Cyle brought over their two kiddos so it was up to nine kids in the house!?

I love that Cayden and Mya just blend in with the kiddos like they are their everyday!

UP walking like a big girl :)
