Peony Festival

Entirely by accident we seem to make it home every year for the Van Wert Peony Festival. This year it was even better with a concert, car show, food places, AND RIDES!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we packed up the car.... Gweny thought she was going to drive. She was just cracking up being in the front seat.

A great shot of Hadley and her Dada.

I think this picture sums up happiness for a kid. Look how happy she is...

Gweny trying to be cool, wearing Dada's hat.

Of course, Gweny is with Pawpaw. She cannot leave him be if he is in her sight.

So this is one of the first rides and Gweny pretty much hated it, yet when we attempted to get her off the ride she went nuts. Then she became the ride queen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hadley seeing her friend Cayden. These two just get along so well, like their moms :)

So they decided to go for a ride together!!

After fifteen minutes on the para-trooper ride Mr Cayden got a bellyache so the girls rode together to use all of their tickets!

Gweny became addicted to the little cars.

The next day was the parade. We were fortunate enough to have access to Aunt Stacy's work so the kids could cool off and go potty. The down side is that we were directly in the sun on a 90 some degree day. So we were all struggling a little. It was surprisingly long and the kiddos got TONS of candy, toothbrushes, balls, you name it.

Gweny just loved sitting on the curb, watching and waving. She was so stinking precious.

This picture melts my heart. I don't have tons of things hanging in my house but it's definitely about to be an 8x10 or even bigger, maybe a canvas picture. I absolutely LOVE IT.

Everyone is looking a little tired from the sun...but hanging in there.

The next day was equally as hot so we decided to surprise the kids with a pool at my parents house. Of course we wanted a big swim pool and they were out so we got this crocodile. Which Mae tried to use and rolled off somehow...

Of course after two hours of prep the kids were only mildly amused.

Gweny had enough and needed a little lounge time!

And I'm going to begin calling Mason swimbug. This man LOVES water!!!!!!!!!! Plus he is just too cute.
